iOS 7 Latest Update :
Since iOS 7 was revealed at WWDC 2013 on June 10th, questions are being asked about an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.  Despite all the information that has been given, there are some who want to know why we haven’t got one, now that iOS 7 is out in the open. And, there are still some asking about a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3.
At the risk of repeating ourselves, there is not going to be a jailbreak for 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 but there will be an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.  iOS 6 -6.1.2 is covered by the current evasi0n utility and the next 2 upgrades are considered to be too minor to worry about.
Evad3rs, responsible for the iOS 6 jailbreak, evasi0n, are currently working on an iOS7 untethered jailbreak. At the same time, so is P0sixninja, ex-team leader of the Chronic dev team. He already claims to have found several exploits and, after the last one said that iOS 7 would soon be his.  Evad3rs on the other hand are staying a little bit quiet.
This doesn’t mean they don’t have any news to tell us, just that they prefer to keep things to themselves until they have something of vast importance to tell us.  To answer the original question, there cannot be an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak until the firmware is released to the public. That isn’t going to be until September at the earliest.

In the meantime, work will continue on the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak. One thing to bear in mind is that the jailbreak will not be compatible with as many devices as evasi0n was. iOS 7 only supports  the iPhone 4, 4S and 5, iPad 2, 3, 4 and Mini and the iPod Touch 5. Anything not on this list will be out of luck.
